I do not post on the forum often but I have a funny memory that I thought I would share.....
People often talk about their first exposure to home workouts. My Mom has always done home workouts and was the one who got me intrested in it. One day in second grade I was home sick from school. In order to cheer me up my Mom brought home a "Mousersise" workout. I was so excited to do it and my Mom was always so encouraging with working out that she let me do it even thought I was supposed to be sick.
It featured a leader with the short in the back really curly up top hair style that was really popular in the 80s and a sweatband. Some of the songs included the "Jungle Boogie". Most of the background exersisers were kids but every few songs someone dressed up like a character like you would see in Disneyland would come out and dance along with the song. At the end they had a special dance that I remember thinking was so cool. They wore all black and had neon pink and other colorful lights flashing around on the stage.
Although I love my Cathe workouts with their techno music I will always think back to the "Jungle Boogie".
haha
