Fun Game: Guessing Wendy's Due Date

As you all know our Wendy is due 5/19. Just for fun, what day and time do you think Joey will be born? What will his stats be - weight & length? How long do you think Wendy's labor will last? Wendy said that she will gladly tell us after the big event who the winner is.

My guess: born 5/21 at 9:32 p.m. after 11 hours of labor. Joey will weigh 7 lbs 10 ozs and measure 19 inches long.

Wendy, I hope you prove me wrong on the labor. I hope you have your dream delivery!

Well to heck with them...I'm gonna throw my own guess in! lol

May 12th, 19 inches long, 7 pounds 6 ounces, 12 1/2 hours in labor, born 6:03pm.

LOL Missy! Well, you have me late but atleast you don't have me delivering over Memorial Day weekend! I soooo dread that possibility!!! I live down the shore and my hospital is 30 mins north straight up the GSP which is the road everyone takes to and from the jersey shore! It could mean big trouble! :eek:

I think Wendy's bundle of joy will arrive on May 17th at 6AM after 6 hours of labor (do we mean from the first twinge, or from being admitted to the hospital? The timing of labor always confuses me!)
I think little Joey will weigh 6lb 12 oz and be 20 1/2 inches long!

Well 2 years ago when I had DD, I felt the first twinges of early labor around noon. Stayed home alone, just fine, until DH got home from work around 6. We called the Dr, who determined I should come in at midnight.

I was most certainly "in labor" those hours at home, and near midnight I was unable to talk during the contractions (had to concentrate on reLAXXXXing during them).

Once at the hospital I was measured at just 3cm so I paced around until 3AM at which point I was measured at 7cm and given a labor room. She was born at 6:43.

Sooo, my labor was either 18 hours (from first twinges), less than 7 (from getting to the hospital) or less than 4 (from getting a labor room). How is this usually calculated?

Date: May 25
Time: 6:28am
Weight: 8lbs 3oz
Length: 20 inches
Labour: Wendy will feel her first twinge at 6:28pm on May 24

Well, we don't have any winners! ;( Only on length (Melanie and Dana.) But the real winner is Wendy!!!!! I am so happy for you!!! You are going to be such a great mom, Wendy! I hope that we don't see you around here any time soon (you had better be sleeping!) but if you want to let us know how cute his yawns and feet are, I guess that is okay, too!!! :7
