full body workout instructor

I've fallen in love all over again with full body weight training workouts. I have all of Cathes which I love. I wanted to know what other instructors are comparable to Cathe when it comes to full body weight training workouts. I have done Jari Love but I don't like her as an instructor. Any recommendations?

Tony Horton - I love his personality but I prefer Cathe's style of strength training much better.

Kelly Coffey Meyer's 30 Minutes to fitness Weights is a DVD that I enjoy as much as my Cathe strength. It is actually two 30 minute spilt workouts but there is an hour long full-body workout from combining both. All you need are a few pairs of dumbbells. Between sets of weight training you have active rests where you can either choose standing abs, floor abs or low impact cardio. I like working my legs with heavyish weights, and find Kelly full body DVDs tend to focus more on upper body with un/low weighted leg work. Yet I like her, while getting my leg fix elsewhere. I also enjoy Kelly's NYC and Muscle Definition (both these use lighter weights so they feel very different from Cathe - the difference between Kelly and Jari is that though both use lighter weights, Kelly varies the exercises and still builds a burn, instead of doing lots of reps).

I havent tried Jillian. I dont feel the urge to press "Buy" when I see her DVDs. I know she has some advanced strength stuff.

For "classic" full-body strength training, I think Cathe is pretty much the go to girl.

Amy Bento's All Pump Xtreme. You may find a use version on eBay or on the YaYa board for less than $10.

I love Amy, she's fun and always has fun music. Cathe's my favorite, but Amy's pretty tough too. My only complaint with this workout is that it is really long (120 minutes). The good news is, there are premixes to choose from:) (all of Amy's workouts have premixes). I'm going to try to a premix the next time I use this workout, I did the full workout last time and it seemed to go on forever. I was really sore the next day:cool:.
I wanted to add....she uses a lot of equipment with this workout...step, weights, dumbbell, barbell, resistance bands

Stephanie Vitorino has a great DVD and Tracie Long has come out with some new ones too; Defining Shape is the strength-only of the DVDs.

I did Kelly's NYC workout for the first time Monday. I had doms in biceps and I only used 8lb db's. I liked the no weight lowerbody work. It was different and I had a little bit of DOMS there too. :D

I'm also starting to use Kettlebells which are supposed to work the entire body.

Funny, I like generally like Tony's style of ST better (I'm not that fond of straight-set training, which is what most of Cathe's workouts are).

I like Tony Horton's Sculpt 5-6 from P90 Masters.

BBL Sculpt is also good (it contains some functional moves, balance moves, some surprisingly challenging work for the rear delts).

Gin Miller has several total-body workouts, but I haven't tried them.

i agree about liking tony hortons style better. i did bbl sculpt for the first time. i could not do some of the core moves like mermaid and had to use 5-8 pd dumbels.
