Frustrating Cathe

Cathe,
I have gone back and forth and trying so hard to take weight off, I started aerobics for 30mins a day 4 days a week and weight training, but have hit a wall and quit. I need to have a diet that works in conjuction with the rest to win. I have not been able to achieve this part of weight loss, please help.

I'm not Cathe (hopefully you will get a respone), but I just wanted to say welcome to the forums. Try not to get frustrated. If doing aerobics 30 mins 4 days per week was working but then stopped, then my guess is its time to change things. For example, change the type of cardio or increase the intensity, try circuits or intervals, add some weight training. You don't necessarily need to spend more time exercising just keep changing things when progress slows down.

I'm guessing you are male from you name, but even so, you may want to read Cathe's description of how she got in shape after her baby (go to the home page and scroll down). Cathe talks about how she changed her regular routine in order to make things happen. Its very motivating. Good luck! :)

Whoops, I just noticed that you were asking about diet. The general advice here is to eat "clean", but hopefully others will advise further.
