Hi All,
I broke my foot on August 14th. Before then I have had some sort of back pain always. I have been on crutches the whole time - just started walking within last week on my foot. My back pain went completly away while on crutches. Now that i am starting to walk my back pain is terrible. I think some of it is favoring the side I broke my foot. It has been so miserable the last 2 days trying to get back to walking on my foot and hardly being able to move because of back pain. I am going to physical therapy but the PT does not have much to say about my back.
I have gained a few lbs being laid up for 10 weeks now. I can't wait to do Cathe again. Apparently can't rush it or I could get a stress fracture. I am about 5'3 and weight 155. I have lost some muscle. I am wondering how much does weight play a factor in back pain. The doc's say I am not overweight -I do not look like I weigh 155. I am a pear and my legs are musular. I could easily stand to lose 20-25 lbs. Would that help? I can see maybe if I was 175+ that to losing some weight would ease back pain.
Anyone else have a similar situation?
Frustrated and in pain, feeling chubby,
Winter
