FRS Healthy Energy...

I am usually the last person to reach for any kind of energy drink...too much caffeine, too much sugar....way too jittery.

That said, I was looking for something to help combat the afternoon crash, and saw FRS advertised on QVC, and decided to order it. I've only had it the last two days, which is far too early in the game to formulate a lasting opinion, but I did notice yesterday that I didn't poop out after doing KPC in its entirety, and didn't snooze yesterday afternoon..so, so far, so good.

Inital reaction...if it's good enough for Lance Armstrong, it's good enough for me!!

FYI...a serving contains the caffeine equivalent of 1/2 cup of coffee.

No jitters, and no crash..felt a nice, little boost, which is all I am looking for!

Jerry, what's the nutritional info?

Caffeine, hugh? I don't drink coffee nor soda, so this drink may plaster me, I believe! :)

I am a coffee-holic. I can't get through the day without my minimum 2 cups of morning coffee! That being said, I tried the stuff and it made me feel awful! I would take it prior to hitting the gym for a run and would hardly be able to finish my run because it made me so jittery, etc. Perhaps I reacted like that because I was taking it before my morning runs when I still had the caffeine from the coffee in my system. Perhaps it would have worked better later in the day. Oh well.

Gayle...Its all about the B Vitamins...all of them and lots of them:D. I love this stuff! I just add it to my morning protein shakes.

Check out their website..

You can look up the nutritional info for each item.

I looked at it several times before trying, because of meds I have to take and possible interaction.

Ive never tryed one of those energy drinks before, I usually rely on my caffiene. Two cups in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and one before I go to the gym. Otherwise I am so tired and unable to complete my daily workout routine. Maybe I should try something a little bit more healthy like an energy drink, like the one you recommended. Where do I find this and what is the full mane of it again? thanks

Hi Jerry -- I've been using FRS for a while and really like it. It doesn't make me jittery at all (like caffeine can do). It gives me just enough boost in the afternoon to have energy to do my workouts, but not so much that it will keep me up at night. You might also want to try the FRS chews. I like them as well. You can also buy the FRS products through GNC.

If it contains a lot of B vitamins, don't be alarmed if you urine starts looking really yellow. One of the B vitamins (I forget which ) will do that.

I love this stuff, I drink it as much for the anti-oxidants as for the energy. No jitters at all for me, and I drink it during my night kickbox class with no adverse effect on my sleep.

Hmmm....Perhaps I'll have to give it a try again. I am prone to "crash" in the afternoons when, often times, I have a work out to do. I will drink an afternoon cup of coffee but it doesn't really help. Maybe I will try this (again) in place of my afternoon java....:)
