From Hate to Love

When I first got B&G I hated the prone 'spinal rotations on the ball' and couldn't rotate more than a few degrees without wobbling and feeling it in my back. Well I've kept with it and I now LOVE this move. I look forward to it feel so strong now that I can confidently stack my hips on the ball. So any moves you have grown into from hatin' to lovin'?

I ended up in tears after that ball routine because it is hard and I felt weak. You have given me hope and am going to try that one again.

I've gone from loving cardio and hating weight work to loving weights and dreading cardio. It's taking all I have lately to force myself to get in some cardio. I've been a cardio freak for my entire life but I've come across so many fantastic weight workout lately--i.e. Cathe's new series, BBC, S&H, Gym Styles. I really need to do cardio tonight and I just don't wanna!!!! x( x( x(

Like Allison, I used to hate doing weights and was a cardio junkie, but Cathe has gotten me hooked on weights! I now look forward to doing weights much more than cardio!

Isn't it funny how our tastes can change so much?!

Bicep work always had a big dread factor for me... until P90x. I always found it boring since the exercises you do for bis are fairly limited.

After doing that series, I really saw big strength gains in that area, and now I don't mind my "bi" day.

I think it was mostly because w/ all of those pullups you do in the series that I didn't realize notice that my bis were getting a ton of work as well as the back. I think I was able to trick myself into working them that much harder, and that was why I was able to see good gains.

Take care, Lynn

When I first started doing step aerobics (just this past spring) I didn't think I would ever get anything with complex choreography. I hated how quickly I got frustrated with learning complicated moves. I did searches on Collage for anything that was "basic" or "moderate" at most. Then eventually I got bored with those. So I put more effort into practicing tricky workouts. Now I love dancy, complex choreography--Rhythmic Step and Step Blast are a couple of my favorite Cathe step workouts. I also like the choreography of the new step workouts. However, I still haven't figured out the steps on Amy Bento's Advanced Step Challenge, though for some reason I ordered her new one.
