Anyone heard of this. It has many other games too. Laura Dayton released a book a few years back (4-5 I think) called The Lowe Body Solution. Really good book. Anyway the theory is that you workout with weight, 3-4-5-6 days per week. Using the same muscle groups per workout, but with different exercises, tempo, rest, etc…the idea is that you cannot build muscle on such a high frequency and so remain very strong, but very lean. This kind of workout is also used by figure skaters who need to be very strong, but also very small with no large muscle mass. Charles Poliquin has even wrote a book on it for men called Manly Weight Loss (another good book). Just thought those of you who aren’t familiar with it might find the exercise fun, you can always use cathe workouts to achieve the same principles, just on a more high frequency basis. Let me know what you think…

Wayne, I think this is the exact theory behind the Slim Series. And it seems to work just like you mentioned. :)

I have tried the Lower Body Solution twice, and both times I've been injured by doing standing body weight exercises every day. It's very hard on the knees and feet to do squats and lunges every single workout. I think if you use this approach, you have to modify to suit your needs and limitations and be very careful about overuse injuries.
