Freestyle?/Rhonda-Carole

Hi,
I am putting together my freestyle program. Do you consider LowMax a lower body workout that can sub for one of the 6 days/week of lower body exercises? I feel have a good collection of workouts that can be used including GS legs, PLB, Meaner legs, L&G and floor work from other instructors like the Firm Vol 1 with Susan Harris but I'd like to throw in something a little different and LowMax might fit the bill. Any other ideas for video workouts that fit into the freestyle method, Cathe or other instructors? Thanks.
 
You could do the blasts from Lowmax and then do the leg conditioning drills from Kickmax for strictly lower body work with no cardio.

Or, the lower body work from High Step Training Advanced combined with lower body from High Step Challenge.
Just Do It! :)
 
In all honesty Cathy...No, I personally don't consider Lowmax a sub for a Freestyle workout. I still feel Lowmax is cardio. Although I have used Lowmax with leg exercises from Push Pull and Supersets as a Freestyle circuit workout. I'll do a Lowmax interval and then do some leg exercises and then repeat that. Remember any Cathe workout can be modified to freestyle. Just using 70% of what you normally lifted before. Karen Voight has a couple of leg workouts similar to Freestyle and yes some of the Firms lower body work would be similar to Freestyle. Hope this helps...:)...Carole
 
That is a great idea Carole!!!!!! A LowMax interval and then leg exercises!!I love it! I can do that with the other step cardios too! This is great. I am off to make up a rotation for myself.:7 Thanks.

Kali-Kim....:)...I did a great one last week with CircuitMax cutting out the weight segments and replacing them with Supersets different rounds for a total body circuit...:)...Carole
 
I don't always do cathe's workouts, sometimes I just do what I want, like how ever many squats I want to do, and lunges and donkey kicks, and so on.... I just pick out about 4 different leg/glute exercises and start in..... I do about 15 to 20 minutes and then move on...

but I don't even have lowmax..... so I couldn't tell ya... Rhonda:7
