freestyle question

i'm starting the freestyle method today and have a question. i know lots of you use cathe's workouts but in the book he recommends doing 5 sets of each leg exercise which of course cathe does not do in her videos. is it ok to do this or would you get more results if you did it like the book says???? or could you repeat certain exercises she does for 5 sets by replaying that section?
 
Cathe also does more than the freestyle recommendation of reps per sets too in many of her workouts. When I did a Cathe workout for freestyle, I would sometimes add more sets so I got to 4 sets (my freestyle book recommends 4-6 sets of leg exercises). Or I would add front and back lunges doing 6 sets of 20 reps after the Cathe workout as freestyle is centered around various lunges. HTH!...
