Hi all,
I invested in a book, "Escape Your Shape" by Edward J. Jackowski, Ph.D. but I found it was a poor investment for me, but just because it isn't for me doesn't mean it couldn't find a happy home with one of you!
The reason I say it's not for me is because according to the author's description, I am an hourglass shape, and I kid you not when I tell you that EVERY SINGLE EXERCISE he listed as "exercises to avoid for hourglasses" is exactly what I do and have done to lose the past 186 lbs.! So clearly, dude has NOTHING to enlighten me on! According to him, I shouldn't do step aerobics, kickboxing, high impact of any kind, squats, lunges, any exercises for upper and lower body w/weights, walk, jog or run!
His advice would still have my big a** at 375lbs!
And nobody is taking away my Cathe, Powerstrikes or Tae Bo, no matter what initials are behind their name!
So.....first come , first serve! If you'd like the book, it's all yours
Just email me and put in the subject line: escape your shape, and I'll reply.
The book discusses the 4 "body types" and what exercises are best for that shape. Maybe I'm just some sort of "weird" hourglass that the opposite of what I should do works, but clearly his "advice" was not for me and my body!
