Hi Robin,
I figured I had to get in shape just to do the Intense Series. LOL
I was already doing an endurance rotation that was very similar to Sue's but I don't have a Bowflex and I wasn't doing as much ab work until January And... I didn't do MIC. Instead of MIC I did Imax or Circuit Max. I did 4 weeks of Endurance and 4 weeks of Strength
Here was Sue's rotation for endurance that was posted back in December. I'm copying from that post.
Mon. Pure Strength Legs and Abs, Bowflex Leg extensions and curls, cardio portion of CTX step and intervals and CTX All Step cardio and stretch.
Tues. Pure Strength Warm up Chest, shoulders, triceps and Back and Biceps no abs Cardio Kicks
Wed. Interval Max, Abs from PSLA and PSBB, Abs with Bowflex for resistance
Thurs. Pure Stength Legs, no abs stretch, Step works
Fri. Pure Stength Back, Biceps and Abs, Abs from S&H 2x and S&H Planks, MIC
Sun. Rest
I went on a Slow Heavy after that until I got the Intense Series December 30th. Again I didn't do the Bowflex but I added Interval Treadmill and I substituted Imax for MIC. MIC still scares me. LOL
Sue's Strength Rotation was (quoting from Sue)
"Mon S&H Legs and Shoulders, I use my bowflex to go heavier on the squats, and add more calf work and 3 sets each leg extensions and leg curls with the bowflex. CTX all step cardio only
Tues S&H Chest, Back and Triceps CTX Step and Intervals cardio only Also planks
Wed MIC and S&H Biceps, and Abs which I usually do 2 x
Thurs. S&H Legs, done same as Mon except no shoulders. Cardio Kicks sometimes abs.
Fri. Rythmic Step, PS all upper body exercises and one stretch no abs.
Sat. Interval Max, All of CTX abs
Sun Rest"
I personally think this helped build up my endurance and strength to do the new tapes. Doing Imax so much made Imax 2 easy for me.

I also feel that these high aerobic cardios prevented me from getting the bulky look from the weight work. This routine was getting set up for the rotation I would put together with the new series.
My back has shown the most improvement. My DH has remarked how defined it now looks. My legs are a close second. My arms have definition but as the girls know on the TBB thread, my biceps are still weak duing ME. I'm happy with my waist and upper abs. If I could just get the lower abs to co-operate then we've got it made.LOL
I'm interested in seeing what kind of strength rotation Sue puts together, because she once said that she spends more time on strength than endurance.
And strength is where I'll be headed when my rotation with the Body Blast is finished.
ps. Sue has mentioned that she shortens the ab work by using a dumbell for crunch segments.
