for those of you who weight your food.....

Jess, You can get a food scale at Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart etc. I have one, and I couldn't even tell you the brand! It's a little plastic thing. There are quite a variety of them. Here are some from Target.

I don't usually weigh my food, but did recently, for a few days, just to get an idea of where I was at calorie wise. It was a real eye-opener, that's for sure....Mama likes to eat! hahaha

i got a regular scale at walmart.. has the little tray/bowl thingy that can be washed....

Jes,funny you should post this, cause i bought one at target last night for 4 dollars and something. It's just a plastic thing with a tray on top for putting in food. Sadly, 4 oz isn't much chicken or potatoe. I had a cooked sweet potato i weighed on it and it was about 1/2 of it was 4 oz I'm sure this would vary depending on the size of potato.

I think it was about 1/2 of my chicken breast was 4 oz too. that was cooked.

Yup, about 1/2 a large chicken breast is 4 oz (raw weight), and potatoes vary in size so much it's hard to give you an idea on that. I only eat yams, and boy, talk about size differences!!
