Hey Cathe! My Mom is 40 years old and she looks great! She loves doing your tapes every day!
I was wondering....
I am 14 years old and I am very interested in physical fitness. I want to become stronger for my volleyball season and other sports. How can I modify my mom's tapes for me? :) :D :) :7

Hi :),

I'm not Cathe (obviously), but I'm 17..I've been using Pyramid Upper Body, using much lighter weights than Cathe and it's been working great for me. I've also been doing Step Heat.. I'd say if you're doing a strength tape to use lighter weights and work up. If you're going to do cardio than do as much as you can at first and work up to doing the whole tape.

Just my 2 cents and hopefully Cathe will chime in soon..

Hope it works out great for you,

~Kathleen~

Hiya, I'm not Cathe either, but I'm 20 and have been working out with videos since I was 11-12 (!) and with Cathe since I was 14. Starting slow and easing your body into it is important. I was a competitive figure skater and in excellent shape, but when I started with Cathe's tapes I couldn't believe how hard they were because my body wasn't used to that type of exercise. Work your way up to using an 8" step height for her step tapes, and start relatively light with weights. It takes some time to get stronger, but it's definitely worth it! :)

All excellent advice, but take it from an "old" 32 year old who's been stepping since I was age 16....stick with a 6 inch step, your knees will love you for it later!
