Hi getnfit,
I'm not sure if you remember me but I am the one who cannot lose weight I have 50 pounds I need to lose.before my baby I was 150 pounds thanks to Cathe
My baby is now 8 weeks old and I managed to lose 1 pound not to encouraging considering I have been working out like a nut.
I am very impressed with your success and really enjoy reading all your advice.
My ? is my baby is not sleeping to well during the day so I have to workout at night when my husband comes home(usually 8:30 pm)
Do you have a rotation where I can do cardio and weight training?
I have all the videos I am not to crazy about the cxt rotation only because I like to weight train intensely so the 1 body part a day does nothibg for me in fact I feel cheated.I looooove the Ps series. Can you help,
Thanks in advance,
Marisol
BTW Did I tell you when I grow up I want to be just like you you are truly inspiring and motivational(and I am not just saying that so you can respond)hee-hee.

Hey Marisol, here's a link to one of getnfit@38's rotations that looks hellish. I'm starting on Monday and if this rotation doesn't get me to goal, I don't know what will!! Lots of cardio and plenty of wt. work. FUN!

(Sorry to butt in. I'm following getnfit around and just wanted to share.)

Oh, and congrats on the new baby!!

Robin.

Hi Marisol,

Yes I remember you :) And do I have rotations?!
Here's one without any CTX since you don't favor them too much, but if you like the cardio sections of them, you can always use them just for the cardio portion.

here's my "18-week: Burn Fat/Lose Inches Rotation"
WEEKS 1-3:
day 1- step cardio/PowerHour
day 2- kickbox cardio
day 3- hi-lo cardio/MIS
day 4- IMAX (or other interval cardio)
day 5- kickbox cardio
day 6- PowerHour
day 7- REST

WEEKS 4-6:
day 1- hi-lo cardio/MIS
day 2- kickbox cardio
day 3- step cardio/PowerHour
day 4- IMAX (or other interval cardio)
day 5- hi-lo/MIS
day 6- kickbox cardio
day 7- REST

WEEKS 7-14:
day 1- step cardio/PS-CST
day 2- PS-L&A
day 3- hi-lo cardio/PS-BBA
day 4- kickbox cardio/PS-CST
day 5- PS-L&A
day 6- step cardio/PS-BBA
day 7- REST

WEEKS 15-18:
day 1- hi-lo cardio/S&H Legs-Shoulders
day 2- step cardio/S&H Chest-Back
day 3- kickbox cardio/S&H Triceps-Biceps
day 4- IMAX (or other interval cardio)
day 5- step cardio/MIS
day 6- kickbox cardio
day 7- REST

*I labeled the cardios as step/kickbox or hi-lo so you could mix and match whatever types you like. I pretty much stick strictly with Cathe cardios except for kickboxing where I'll include a few other videos, but I know a lot of people here do all sorts of other instructors so since you're doing all Cathe weights, I thought you might want some variety in your cardio.
If you really like training heavy, you could always omit the first 6 weeks and jump right into week 7. PS 2x/week is a workout, but I had GREAT weightloss results from it! And don't be afraid to eat during those weeks! My appetite sored the entire time I did weeks 7-18, but I ate and still lost weight due to the heavy lifting.
Let me know how this works for you, and if there are certain videos you really enjoy, list them for me and I'll see if I have a rotation using them. I have a folder full of em! :)

LAST EDITED ON Mar-21-02 AT 11:08PM (Est)[p]Hi Thank you for responding I have a tendency to favor the all out sweat breaking torture kind of videos.
I loooove the ps series and the kickboxing for cardio I will do step but I am not crazy about it except for Cathe's videos ofcourse I Looove IMAX andPowermax also Rythmic step.
But I do favor kickboxing I own all the tae-bo advance live series and cathe's kickbox videos.
Also I am short on time so How can I max out without it being so time consuming.
Just temporary until baby stats to sleep a little longer.
If anyone can get me through this I was told you were the one.
one more thing can I do the ps rotation with the cxt cardio and ps series and still get good results.
How long should the cardio section be?
I am sorry for chewing your ear off I am just desperate to get back in shape

Hi Marisol,

Yes, you can do the CTX cardio with the PS. My personal belief is you should mix up the lengths of your cardio. Short days (30min), medium days (45min), and longer days (60min). It keeps your metabolism guessing, and your body doesn't get a chance to become too accustomed to your workout because it isn't sure what you're doing! :)
Since you're short on time right now, maybe the cardio of CTX is your best bet. It's intense, will burn fat, but since it's only 30 min, adding on a PS upper body will only be a 70 min workout, actually more like 65 min since you won't need the warm up for PS after the cardio! So not too bad! :)
So really, your variety in cardio is right there: 30 min on PS days/ 60 min on IMAX days/ and I'm not familiar with the length of Tae-bo, but if it comes in between 30-60min, it's all the variety you need.

Hey Marisol, the rotation that I was talking about looks almost exactly like the first 6 weeks of the rotation that she posted for you. This rotation looks awesome!!! I'm gonna do the 6 week one and then, if I'm still alive, I'll finish out the whole 18 weeks. I can't wait to do S&H for an extended period of time!!

Good luck and keep everyone posted. Robin.

Katrid, I just caught your post.

There's room enuff in this town for 2 stalkers!!! getnfit, can you handle it?? HAHA.

Robin.

I just need to get use to seeing my name on a post~I still get the "school girl, lump in my throat, what did I do wrong? thing" whenever I see it! :)
