? for Cathe re: cardio on leg day

Hi Cathe, I was hoping you could help me with cardio on leg day...and the day after. Right now, I am doing GS Legs and I put everything I can into it. My question is, should I take it easy on the cardio that day, less intense, shorter sessions or avoid all together? I don't want to undo all my hard work by causing too much stress on the lower body. I usually run the treadmill after GS Legs. Same question applies for the day after leg day. I am concerned that doing cardio wrong the next day(and day of) will not allow my legs to properly recover...what is your professional opinion?

I recently asked Cathe something similar, here is her reply:

Hi Thea! Depending on how hard and heavy you push yourself on the leg day, you may want to consider leaving your cardio alone that day. If that is not something you want to do then here are your other options:

On your leg day, do half the amount of cardio you typically do AFTER your leg workout, or if possible do your cardio later in the day.
