Hi fellow Canadians,
I originally posted asking if Canadians were getting the High Step from Cathe.com. After reading on CK Sales' site that they were unable to get the High Step, I went on over to Cathe.com and ordered the High Step topper. Before ordering, I spoke to UPS and asked how much brokerage fees I would be charged (for the topper valued at $29.99 I only paid $16.50 plus GST and PST for a total of $23.60). I live in Ontario so I had to pay the PST. I ordered on October 9th and the topper was shipped out to me October 14th, passed through Customs on the 16th and a delivery attempt to my place was made on the 17th. Wow, talk about fast service and delivery. I wasn't home so I didn't receive it on the 17th, but I called UPS and told them to redirect the package to my local UPS depot so I could pick it up because on their 1-800 number they stated that after a failed third delivery attempt, all package that go through Customs gets returned to the original sender (Cathe). I didn't want to risk having my topper sent back to poor Cathe! Anyway, this was a pricey purchase but I think it was well worth it because that topper is one sturdy and very strong little thing and I can't forsee when the High Step will actually be available in Canada. Sometimes certain things take a while to be marketed here and darn it! I'm just plain old impatient and when I want something, I want it NOW!:7 I can't wait to try it out tonight with Muscle Endurance and exult in those wonderful leg presses on my new topper.
