For all make- up lovers

I received the email below from my SIL. I just went on the site and the prices are unbelievable. I haven't tried this brand of make up, but for the price, I figure if I don't like it- oh, well. Most items are $1.00, but some of the make up kits and brush kits are more. Make sure to use the checkout code CAROLINA for even more of a discount.

Here's the email I received from my SIL-

> Hey you guys! For anyone who's looking to buy makeup or makeup tools
> this is an AWESOME sale! You can't beat $1!

> Nordstrom is changing the logo on their makeup, so they're selling

RE: For all make up lovers

It might be a scam... A visit to Nordstrom's site says this. (and it was dated a year ago..)

If I were you, I'd keep a very close watch on my credit card statements to check for suspicious activity. Regardless of how much or little you spent, they now have your credit card info and can do what they please with it. Lots of scammers on the internet these days...

RE: For all make up lovers

This is not a scam, just incorrect information regarding Nordstrom part of the story.

I just spoke with customer service for ELF. They said the prices on the website are their EVERYDAY PRICES. They are aware of the Nordstrom messages going around by email and that part of the story is not true.

>T think they used to sell ELF makeup products in Target and
>they were really cheap.

You're correct, it was sold at Target and everything was $1.00. Actually, the quality wasn't too bad...I got an eyelash curler, some bronzer, etc. Nothing outstanding but it definitely rivaled and was similiar in quality to that of drugstore brands (Cover Girl, Maybelline, etc.). And again, if you hate it, you're out a dollar!

Was wondering why I don't see it at Target anymore...
