Fluidity???

Bumping. I recall several Cathe-ites buying this last winter/spring and saying how much they loved it. I'm curious if everyone still likes it as much as they did at first and if they still are seeing good results.

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

I use Fluidity and Squeeze several times a week to keep my saddlebags issue under control. I saw a huge change in that problem when I started doing these. After you get used to the DVDs, I think Michelle becomes more grinding and annoying - though I tolerate her for the results that I like. I sold P90X to offset some of the cost of Fluidity - and for me that was a good move - though not for everyone. HTH!

I have the fluidity bar. I bought it because it was the closest workout that I could find that mimic's ballet movements. I used to do ballet when I was younger and I currently take ballet classes now. Ballet is such a great form of exercise. I like the workout because it helps increase flexibility and because it really works your core. The DVD is a bit campy especially since I like working out to DVD's with good music, . .that's why I like Cathe, but they are pretty decent. If you can buy it for cheaper that the infomercial price get it. I think it is well worth it, but paying $250 for it is a bit high. I will be kicking myself when I see it for sale at my local Target for $50. It acts as a great stretching device too. If you have the money to burn go for it if not I would reccomend Cathe's stretching DVD and Core DVD they get the job done for a lot less.

I recently bought this although I haven't been using the workouts it came with. I've been using Callanetics, The Bar Method, and Lotte Berk. Its more comfortable than a chair since the bar height is adjustable. I think these workouts have decreased the bulk all along the front of my thighs and sort of elongated my butt so its not so "bubbly".

Hi There,

I have the Fluidity bar with all the DVD's it was my valentine present from by BF, I like but not love it, I like free weights and Boot camp type workouts like Drill max, I do Fluidity as an add on or on recovey week. I am now doing Barry's bootcamp for two weeks, then a week of something easier like LIC, and Drill max, then back to BBC.
I am anxious to get the 4 day split.

i bought it but sent it back b/c i didn't care for it. i'm not sure why i just thought for the money it wasn't worth keeping. i can get the same results from the barre method and the squeeze workouts

I started out okay, but dumped it after I got the Squeeze workout. I just do not like Michelle's teaching or voice, or something! But it does work with the lotte berk method which I like okay.

I bought the set last year but barely use it now. I'm 5'9" talll and have to have the barre pulled all the way out, which makes it very unstable, especially when leaning backwards.

I've started trading the DVDs and will end up selling or giving the barre away at some point. I haven't used it in months. :(
