Floorwork to maintain muscle, does it work?

Cathe,

I read a lot of posts about bulking with standing leg work. I am pear-shaped in the lower body, but a lot of it is fat. However, I do have pretty defined quads and a hamstring bulge from doing your workouts.

My question is: how effective is floorwork for leg muscle toning? I don't want my quads to get any bigger, but I also don't want to lose the firmness I have now. Would floorwork alone, from say the PS Legs tape, be enough to maintain the muscle I have?

I want to save my energy for cardio so I can lose more fat, but I also want to maintain my muscle mass. In the past, I've done a lot of your weight work, and it hasn't helped me lose the fat I need to lose, so I now want to do more cardio.
