Flooring

Not me personally, but I have a friend who works out in her basement and put in something. She got the interlocking thick foam pieces at Sportmart and seriously loves it.
 
I just put in the multi-colored padded flooring which I bought at Sam's club -8 interlocking pieces for a total of 33.5 sq. feet for $14.96. I just bought 2 packages of it Monday and have only used it for 2 days but I LOVE IT and am planning on buying more so that most of my floor is covered. I definitely recommend it. What does aerobic flooring do? Give you a better surface to exercise on? Does anyone have this problem - I have been working out at home for 12+ yrs and my floor has serious squeaking problems in my workout area. I weigh 121 lbs, so I hope my weight has not caused this. Would aerobic flooring help this?
