Floor Aerobics, use of less space

I love all of Cathe's DVDs and have been using them for years. I just wish she would realize that not many of us have a lot of workout space. It would be great to have a step aerobics DVD that does not require an additional 7 to 8 feet. She has already indicated in the new series 4-day split that you will need a lot of space. Please Cathe remember that most of us have limited space and could you please make a DVD that would just be in the area around the step and not require an additional 7-8 feet. Also could you consider doing a DVD that does not require a step. I would love to just do a floor routine for once. The old knees are not what they used to be. I know Cathe gets a lot of suggestions and you can't please everyone. But there are a lot of us who are not so young and could use a floor routine that would be easier on our joints. Plus please try and remember to do a routine that does not require a lot of room. Most of us do not have a studio to workout in. Just your basic basement, rec room or living room. With all the furniture and stuff things just get in the way. So hopefully Cathe you are listening and can think of those who have knee problems and lack of space to workout in. Otherwise, Cathe you are doing a great job and I love doing your workouts and will continue to buy your DVDs as they come out. Love shaking things up a bit and changing the workouts I do. Thanks for listening.
 
I agree. Some of these "two double grapevine"-like moves take up much to much space to do correctly. From comments I've seen posted, as well as my own experience, 8' x 8' is typical for home exercisers, and it would be nice to have the choreo fit into this space.
 
I agree. And honestly, I think this sometimes adds to people's confusion with her choreography. When you're trying to learn to do all of the twists and turns she adds and at the same time trying to squish the movements down into limited space, you just end up tripping over your own feet (or furniture). Great observation and suggestion.
 
I would love more floor aerobics that doesn't need too much space.

I would also like more beginners workouts on this!

I agree that recently Cathe's videos are taking up too much space and/or difficult to do on carpet.

Drill Max is a space hog and Kick Max features a turn move that is almost impossible to do on carpet. Since most of up work out on carpet, that move is does not make me happy because I don't like to have to modify the move as Cathe suggests.

It seems to me that the videos are veering more and more away from Cathe's earlier videos that required less space.

I would love to do Drill Max, but I don't have a free wall in my workout area and when I do some of the cardio moves, I rebound all the way out of my room.
 
OMG! You would not believe how many times I've busted my a** trying to do those space hog videos!

Most of us do not have the luxury of a huge studio with special flooring.....
