<---doesn't give a hoot about selecting a song for the title today
<---really dislikes whippoorwills
<---longs for the peace and quiet of winter
<---was up at 3;15 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep because of that idiot bird
<---admits there is an advantage to that:
<---had plenty of time to read yesterday's thread!
<---wishes Melody a safe journey and a good visit with the docs
<---thinks all you ladies who suffer from the heat should get central air conditioning
<---couldn't live without it
<---applauds Amy and gives her a big hug for trying to quit her day job!
<---hopes her new work arrangement works out but is sorry she has to wait until fall for it
<---admires Miss NancyPants for her career goals but hopes she can take some time off to just BREATHE
<---hopes Shelley has a lovely day
<---hopes Cousin Michele is feeling better
<---waves good morning to Tig, Robin, Judy and Meahgan (did <--- spell that right?), but can't exactly remember what went on with them yesterday
<---tosses this out for everyone's opinions/thoughts and welcomes an email response since <--- can't get back here regularly... but promises to check tonight, too :
I really like the work I do. I'm a medical writer - I like the topic, like the research and just like writing. You know there are problems at work though - those massive layoffs, concern that the department will close down, etc. But right now that's not the main issue. The problem is, I flat out cannot sit all day at a computer. It is getting to the point where it is intolerable. There's the elbows issue. But I just feel flat out lousy after a day at work - tired of sitting, my rear feels flattened, my back is stiff, braindead... I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Now then, what would you do?
<---is back into proper thread mode now
<---needs to finish getting ready for work
<---is completely amazed and disgusted that since <--- got out of bed, the friggin' bird hasn't made a peep
<---hopes to see ya'll this evening
