FL people - questions for you

Is anyone familiar with Wauchula FL? That is another site that my son can choose for his last clinical in his PT program. He would be going to Florida Institute for Neurologic Rehabilitation. I would appreciate any info anyone could give me on the area.

:) I live in Groveland Florida which is 30 miles west of Orlando. I believe Wachulu is south of us. Am I right? I am not exactly sure where it is. You can try checking the Chamber of commerce website for city information. Where will he be coming from? Good luck to you and your son!
 
We are from NY so I have no clue where Wachulu is. I will check with the chamber of commerce but was trying to get a feel for the place from someone who actually lived there or had first hand knowledge of the area. I know he is old enough to make these choices on his own but as long as I am the one paying for all this traveling I want to know where I am sending him. :)

Wakulla is just south of Tallahassee, Wachula is east of the Bradenton area- I used to go there for work every couple of months 10 years ago and it was rural "old florida". Don't know about now though - It's about an hour away from the Tampa airport -
