Fitting in 1RM tests

I completed the March '10 rotation, and now I'm wondering if I should use next week to do 1rm testing and cardio only, or should I add an extra week of workouts and fit the testing in around the workouts. How do other people fit it in? Do you tack it on at the end of your weight workouts or do you reserve it for non weight days?
 
I am getting STS for my B'day in a couple of weeks. Part of the reason I have held off on STS was because I dread doing 1RM's. I have finally decided that I will do them as my weight work outs for whatever period of time it takes me to get through them. That being said, I am going to get through them as quickly as possible! ;) Not sure how I'll split it all up but that's what I am going to do. Seems to be the easiest solution. HTH!
