Fitnessfreak's January Rotation for January 10, 2009

Hey guys! I finished the KB/BC cardio premix- I love that workout. It just seems to fly by- I start out thinking oh man, 12 drills and then poof! Over already. :)

I burned 707, but the last 100 was from my 10 minutes of Steady State Step, which I am trying to learn. It isn't Amy Bento choreography, but I have to rewind every now and again. It's a fun workout. I love step.

Veronika: It is a mom/tot class for both the kids-- the classes are back to back, so we each take one.

Mindy: Ha, 700 calories in 5 jumping jacks! If I could do that, much as I love Cathe, I wouldn't need her. :) My name is Patti- orphylea is just my user name.

I'm southern Ohio, so no snow! I won't complain, although sledding and hot chocolate sounds fun. I'm sure I'll get my chance this winter.

This is a fun check in- I love seeing what you all are doing and it is motivating to know you're all out there doing this too. Have a great night! I think we're going to finish up the first episode of Damages.
 
Hi Everyone,

Today is my last day of checking in with you. I've been tired lately, and I realized that I've been doing heavy weight workouts for a good 10 weeks ~ time for a week break. I wish you all continued success with this awesome rotation. :) I've upped the weights significantly and can't wait to come back even stronger!

My cardio was shoveling snow on and off today. I seriously think that whoever came up with the calories-burned-per-hour via shoveling snow by hand figure (something like 280 cals per hour) DOES NOT live where one must shovel serious amounts of heavy, wet snow. :p 280 my butt!!!
 
Becca, I laughed about Cathe forgetting about you on the floor. I thought there was something wrong and that it had repeated because I was on the floor for so long.I like floor work too so it had to be long for me to say that.
Lori, I;m sorry you are leaving us. Hopefully, Debbie will do another rotation that we can all do together again. Rest up and we will see you soon.

Saturday January 10,2009 Fitnessfreak's check-in

Good Evening Ladies!:D

I do own 4DS but haven't really tried any of the premixes, but Debbie's showing me how awesome Cathe's premixes are, thanks Debbie. I did do the Cardio Power Premix from 4DS Kickbox/Bootcamp cardio= 55 min. Let me just say that is some serious kickin' cardio. I know I did sweat buckets. It was alot of fun I love a good challenging cardio workout. My legs are still recovering from PS Legs yesterday. Just let me add that if anyone is thinking that Cathe's earlier workouts are lacking in effectiveness because they are older, wrong! Cathe will still kick your butt into shape and you will sweat and muscles will feel it most definitely. But that's why we love our Cathe,she's all about results and that's why we love her. :p

I also added the Core chapter from Kickbox 4DS, hey it was already in the DVD player so why not, right? So I did core from that= approx. 10 min. I think I might do twenty minutes of yoga now to stretch and loosen up.

Great workout today!! I hope everyone had a great workout and fantastic Saturday as well.

Debbie, congrats on the snow. I'm in Oregon and we had ours the week before and week of Christmas. The kids loved it they got a few extra days on their Christmas holidays. :p I hope you'll get to go enjoy and play in your snow this weekend.
