Fitness Testing

For work, about 10 years ago, the physiotherapist checked my fitness based on some sort of National test (not sure if it was Canadian or American). It told you where you were percentile wise compared to other people your age. Some of the stuff I had to do was:
how many sit ups can you do in an hour?
how many push ups can you do?
how far can you reach your fingers beyond your toes while sitting with straight legs
there were other flexibility and cardio components too.

Does anyone know what this fitness test was...and where could I find it? If it's available online even better. If there's a better test too please let me know.

I'd like to try the test again...now that I'm 38 and in the best shape of my life. I also think it'd be a cool guage to check my progress.

How many sit-ups can you do in an HOUR?

Sounds like the standard fitness test they give kids at school. Try searching for "standard fitness testing" on your search engine.

I read that too and was like "an HOUR"????? Holy COW!

The fitness tests I've always done have been situps in one minute.

This does indeed sound like the typical fitness assessment used in schools and at gyms/health clubs. There's a computer game called Yourself Fitness that utilizes a very similar fitness assessment and tracks your improvements over time in all of these test areas.
