Fitness RX magazine

This magazine drives me nuts. It has some interesting information in it, and I like that they always quote their sources, but there are so many freakin' typos and spelling mistakes, the writing is of such poor quality and sometimes they are just too blatant with the matching of their articles and reviews with the ads (all magazines do that - talk up the products of the advertisers that purchase ads in the magazine - but they are just completely brazen about it and treating their readers like idiots). I got the subscription for Christmas but I'm not really enjoying it. I much prefer Oxygen and Women's Health.

Hmmmmmm. I never noticed anything in Fitness? You must have a real eye for detail!
I just started getting Women's Health in December...and I really like it. I found Fitness & Self repetitious with articles and such....I've been reading them for several years. Never read Oxygen though.
Have a good day!

I used to get Fitness Rx too. I was also taken in by the quoting of the sources. Then one month they were talking about eating disorders or weight loss drugs and the way the article was written it almost seemed like they were tacitly endorsing the issue. They did say not to engage in that behavior, but the way the entire article was written was weird and made me very uncomfortable. I stopped reading it after that.
