Hi everyone, mind if I start this today? :) Yesterday I found myself without much else to do (after doing all my chores last weekend) so I tried Step Blast. Didn't preview it, just did it. I knew I'd be doing much backtracking, which I did, but I was pretty glad that I was able to follow the first two combos at least. The third one was tough. It had so many triple steps in quick succession that are tough to do on carpet. I skipped the challenge because I knew I won't be able to do it on the first try but went ahead to the blasts just to get a feel for those. I kept my step at its lowest and my moves low and simple. Like Cathe's other step workouts, this one will grow on me once I find ways to modify the parts I find tough. Strangely, I notice that after I create modifications and do those for a while, all of a sudden I'm doing the tough parts.

Today I'll try the step portion of SJP. As for my eating, it's been hardly clean since the weekend and it just might only get worse as Christmas approaches. Lori, I hope you feel better.

Have a great day everyone,
Pinky

Thanks Pinky, I am a little more better today. This dang PMS, it puts me out every month. I did the 3 sets of PP today for UB. I was going to do the Timesaver #1 cardio to add to it, but I didn't. I have been following JillyBean's Premix rotation that she posted. Tomorrow is SB/SJP circuits. I have never done either of those tapes yet, well I did some on one of the Timesaver's, but I am sure my mouth will need soap when I am done!! I am looking forward to it though. I just hope my feet cooperate!!! Have a great day everyone!!!

Good Morning everyone,

Although it's almost afternoon now that I look at the clock on my computer. These work meetings just keep getting longer and longer.

This morning did Cardio and Weights:D . I simply adore this workout. I'm sure I had a totally cheesy grin on my face the whole time i was doing it because I was having so much fun. I even had the energy and to do the jumping-spinning squats of the end of the stepin the last cardio segment I was so energized. And my knees didn't seem to mind a bit! I'm also finally getting comfortable with the heavier weight on the shoulder exercises. Wow! I just felt like I could kick some serious booty!

Which I have been doing, although on a verbal level. I was supposed to get my Body Blast DVD's yesterday and when I tracked them they showed up as being delivered. WRONG!!!!! I didn't get them. When I called UPS they said that the driver gave them to a young child. WHAT!!!!! I'm single and have no human children (I consider my cats my fur children, though). I was fuming}( and gave UPS the riot act. Apparently the package they gave to the young child was, in fact, for that household, but they scanned it like it was my package. So my DVD's are cruising around on a UPS truck somewhere. They promised me that they would be delivered later this evening so we'll see. If they are not delivered tonight the roar you hear will be me back on the phone cursing out UPS!!!

Pinky- thanks for starting today's thread. Yes, housework is absolutely a work out. When I really get going with vacuuming and mopping etc. I'll even break a sweat! And congratulations on lifting the heavier weight! Woo woo!

Joy- I hear you on the stretching DOM's. You're not supposed to get them but I've had the same thing happen to me, especially with some Yoga stretches/moves. You probably overdid the stretch and pulled the muscle or something. I think Cathe can be a bad influence in making us want to over achieve in all areas of fitness;-) .

Brenda- Christi's website is www.taylordfitness.com. I think you might really enjoy her style. I also had to laugh at your post about your dog licking your weights. How funny and yet gross too! Maybe he thinks they resemble a very solid bone? And I was sorry to hear that your child has the flu. NO FUN (both for you and for them). Hope things turn around soon.

Rhonda and Lori- I've heard of close girlfriends periods eventually synchronizing but I didn't think it was possible for it to happen over the internet until I read your posts. I'm finally getting over the bloated stage and actually don't feel that bad. My energy level is doing fine, but I think that's because I've forced myself to keep up with the schedule. Thank goodness my salt craving has finally stopped! Whenever I'm PMSing I'm on a mission to load up on salty stuff. Bring on the chips!!! Great job, Rhonda, listening to your body and easing up. I bet you'll come back even stronger after this little rest.

Have a great day, everyone!

Oh My Word Sabine, I hope your DVD's came!!!!! I would be upset too!!! These are the best set of workouts yet. I just love them. Well, right now I do anyway. Today I am doing the SB/SJP circuits. I am nervous to do it, but excited. I am pleasantly sore from doing PP, 3 sets yesterday, plus KPC the day before w/ my 1 lb. weight gloves on. Have a great day everyone.

Hi everyone,

Did Charlene's Low Impact High Intensity this morning. Last night I did do Margeret Perfect 10 workout. I tell you Margaret's shoulder workouts are killers and I am only using 2.5 pounds. Not soo sore today but they were fatigue when I got done last night.

Won't be doing anything tonight since we won't be home til close to midnight from the Red Wing game.

Tomorrow, as long as I can get up, will be a shorter cardio or a Margaret Strength.

My eating was horrendous yesterday. I did so terribly and was putting anything and everything into my mouth. This morning I had some yogurt and a bagel. Not real healthy but hopefully will get back on track soon. The holidays are not helping either.

Hope everyone is doing well. Rhonda
