Fit for T-Day.......TUesday

Good morning, ladies! I have to keep telling myself it's Tuesday...taking one day off work messes the whole week up! LOL

Yesterday's class with Cathe was so much fun. It was challenging, but I was on fire and pumped up! All cardio. Kickbox, steady state, running, PLYO, abs and more PLYO! It was awesome! I then enjoyed lunch with Jerry and he's a great guy!!! It's my second time seeing him outside of Cathe's Road Trips. He hosted me and my crew at Cape May NJ this summer at his hotel at the beach. He's so funny and I LOVE his sense of humor!

So that makes today weights. I'll be doing S&H as soon as I get the kids on the bus....upper body, just not sure which yet. I'll decide that in a minute. I decided to sleep in for a bit of extra rest...up late watching the Phillies play.

I am so glad you had fun!! I thought I would be the first one to post this am what time do you wake up lol. I am trying to retrain my body to wake up early so i can work out in the am again. i was so much better off before when i did. i decided since already tuesday and havent yet that i am going to next week make it a cathe week and do just her dvds since lately it has been group exercise classes or elliptical and they are never as intense as cathes and i want to build up that endurance again.

i will be back in a bit at work hopefully it won't be crazy like yesterday and i will be able to post

Gayle: soooooooooooooo jealous that you get to go Cathe's classes! It sounds like an amazing experience.

Eriniski: Hope you get to take a breather soon and stop being so busy!

So, I've had a bike trainer for more than a year (this is like a little stand for your regular road bike that allows it to function like a stationary bike - more info here) and I never used it! I was reading about spinning, and suddenly it looked like fun, so I decided to give that a try this morning.

Whoa. I think I might have burned out a few leg muscles. Spinning is HARD!! I ride my bike outside all the time, and I barely even break a sweat (I guess it's all that downhill coasting). But wowie - this was like, Cathe hard.

Anyway, that was my a.m. workout. Only 35 minutes (felt like 35 YEARS!! ), and then a couple short kettlebell circuits are on tap for later. If I can move my legs.

Yesterday's eating was good, in spite of the Devil's cookies in the office kitchen. So far, nobody's left any pies on my desk or left slices of cake around the copier. I have a beautiful "clean eating" Waldorf Salad with a bunch of greens for lunch...yummy .

Afreet, that sounds yummy!! Spin is great, they have downloads like cardio coach and itrain that tell you what to do too to push you even harder. it gives you hills flat road etc. how exciting you found a new workout to keep you motivated!!

today for me my focus is trying to eat as clean as possible for three days so i notice a change and then that will be the motivation. :) and water lots of it. this way i will be prepared to start a hardcore fitness plan again to get me in tip top shape for anthony's party. (btw- i found out that the hall has a screen (large) so I think i am going to have everyone before the event say something about him and then we can watch during part of it think it would be a nice way to start the party :)!)
 
Hi, ladies! Sorry, I can't chat right now. I'm headed out for work/school.

I just wanted to report that S&H Chect & Back (with the planks) is DONE!

I've got an itching for more cardio! What did Cathe DO to me yesterday? Like I didn't get enough! LOL Perhaps, PERHAPS I'll get in some cardio to curb the craving later.

Hi girls,

Today I did intervals on the elliptical followed by 20 minutes SS on the rower. I have to go to a CAbi (Carol Anderson by invitation) party tonight. I've never been to one but assume it's like a tupperware party selling clothes. My SIL is having it and she always goes over the top with the food. Sometimes I think it would be much easier to stay at home and never go out. People want to feed me everywhere I go. :eek: And I'm so weak......

Gayle, I'm glad you had a great time. :D I wish I lived close enough to go to Cathe's classes.

Lisa/A, I agree that spinning is hard. I got a bike for Christmas last year and it wears me out. I wanted to check out a different brand and see if they're all like that or if it's just mine. ;)
 
Good workouts ladies!!! This morning i fast walked at 4.0mph at a 12% incline for 45 minutes. while i was doing this i was watching the new squeeze workout and i can't wait to try it tomorrow:) i think i may split the squeeze workouts into the upper and lower individual workouts so i can have time to tag on some cardio. so tomorrow i may do just the upper body new squeeze workout and then jog for 30 minutes. we'll see. hope you all have a great day!!!!!
