Fit for C & H Tuesday

Morning ladies! No workout for me this morning. I'm really going to try and keep it to late afternoon early evenings. Last night when i was watching t.v. i though that i have so much time at night to get it in so its not a big deal. I'm enjoying not getting up so early in the morning and i'm finding that i'm sleeping better. Today i will do CC#8 and then workout #3 from coremax. Hope you ladies have a good day.
Todays diet:

breakfast:1 egg, 1/2 cup egg whites, 2 kashi waffles, 1/4 cup fat free milk, coffee, splenda

snack:12 almonds, 1 scoop protein powder

lunch: large salad with grilled chicken

snack: 12 almonds, 1 scoop protein powder

dinner: veggies and grilled chicken

snack: mabe another protein shake? not sure yet

Sounds like a great plan!! Well unfortunately i wont be able to workout the next few days which i find incredibly annoying. i have a cyst and they had to drain today :( but as long as i eat well no damage should be done

just checkin' in... BBL to tattle on myself I'm sure... only did 30 min TM workout last night as I was just too tired to do anything else...

Kariev: I find that I sleep much better when working out in the evenings, because I'm pretty much wiped out after a w.o... I do have to do it a few hours before I hit the hay or I'm still on the endorphin high, but that wears off quickly for me... I find my demeanor much more pleasant when I have had enough sleep, so doing morning workouts is just out of the question for me... stick with it for a few weeks and see how it goes... you can always do both morning OR evenings depending on what you have going on... the most important thing is that we are doing it!

Eriniski: sorry about your cyst! It just sounds painfull, so hope you will be up and at 'em quickly!

Diet:

B: 2 packets instant Low Sugar oatmeal
s: pretzel sticks
L: salad or similar
d: BF ham with swiss on mini bagel with mustard, pickles and carrots on the side

I joined Cathe's Nutrition Manager last night, and input my food intake for yesterday... not sure how you manage to figure out a restaurant meal, but did the best I could with learning everything... did OK on the grades, but still have a ways to go. i do better with a menu (just like I do better with a rotation!) so apparently I'm a TRUE FOLLOWER! I do need to get me some protein powder though... and I find it hard to cook eggs and such on week days so will save those types of breakfasts for the weekend!

hi ladies! had a good day at work today. got home around 4:20 took the dog for a short walk and then it was off to my workout. Did CC#8 on the treadmill. It was an intense 50 minutes. Then did coremax#3 I was pooped after! When i first got home i really didn't want to workout but no more than getting up at 4:45am I just posted a long post in the OD forum about splitting up my workouts into mornings and evenings. Please look at the post and let me know what your opiniions are. My husband thinks i'll hate it and that i should just stick with the evening workouts instead. I'm so happy he is supportive of my workouts.

dbelden1: look on the positive side, at least you got 30 minutes of exercise in. Its so much better than none and at least you tried. Most people that are exhausted just say screw it and skip it all together. So koodos to you for doing something! Your diet looks super low in cals. How many cals are you eating? I would pass out with these intense workouts of Cathe eating so little. I think the nutrition manager is just what you need. Good luck! Let me know if its worth it so i will join to.

erinski: sorry to hear about your cyst. i know it sucks not being able to workout but your body needs the rest. i hope you feel better soon and your back on your feet! just focus on good eating and you'll be fine.
 
Hi Kariev... I'm no exercise expert but I did read your post in OD. it will be interesting to see what others suggest that are more knowledgable! but... that being said, I would agree that if it works for you, try it! Maybe that will be less stressful by having only a 30 minute cardio workout in the A.M. and then a weight or other Total Body workout in the evening... There are some really good premixes and timesaver workouts.. My only fear would be that you won't get as much out of such a short weight workout, but again, I don't know that for a fact... but then again if you do heavy weights, such as drop sets or super sets, and do one body part per night, you could conceivably still get in the same amount of work...

can't hurt to see what others say and try it!

As for the calories... when I got everything entered into the Nutrition manager, it came out about 1400 calories yesterday, but felt like more, so not sure if I am still getting used to entering the foods, or what, but my grades were just moderate to poor... but for only $10 for a 30 day trial, I'll see how it works.. I can always go back to FitDay.com and use that... at one time I purchased the downloadable version, but haven't used it for about 3 years... it did a pretty good job tracking, but didn't grade you on how your eating was... As I get into it more, I will see how it goes and if anything improves...
