First impressions aren't always right!

Hi,

I'm the type of person who will buy anything Cathe puts out. That said, I had Cardio Kicks gathering dust - complete with a note on it that said "ick." (sorry Cathe). Well, I pulled it out for a change from step and I love it!

THAT is why I buy everything Cathe puts out. I might not like it right away or even think I need it, but eventually I might and I will want it right then. Trading away a Cathe would be like trading away one of my kids! I haven't done all the Intensities and might not for a while but I still preordered the Body Blast.

Are there any Cathes you didn't like but one day "clicked"?

Muscle Endurance

When I first did Muscle Endurance, I really didn't like it. I just didn't feel like it was a complete workout... I've been doing it more and more lately, because that upper body premix is just right when I only have 30 minutes. I feel pretty fried when I'm done, and it seems as complete as any other workout. Wonder what was wrong that first time?

Step Works from Cardio Hits has become a new favorite of mine. I wasn't wild about it when I first tried it.

Body Max for me. When I first got it, I had not done any step before except for Karen Voight's Energy Sprint. I had a miserable time with the choreography, and it was so HARD. I never had the conscious thought of hating it, but I didn't touch it for about two years, until all of a sudden, I decided I wanted my a$$ kicked. The choreography still didn't click that time, but I refused to quit, because I wanted to say I made it all the way through. Since then, though, it's been one of my favorites!

Rose, I'm right withya. Circuit Max mouldered on my shelf for months, and now if I go two consecutive weeks without it I go into withdrawal. And right now I'm at a place where I do not use any Cathe strictly-strength routines; however, I bought the PUB/PLB on the presale along with all of the others in The Intensity Series, as well as the entire Body Blast series on the presale.

I feel like I'm like a squirrel storing nuts with Cathe workouts both cardio and strength. The chance is too good that all of them will have some place in my program someday to pass them up.

Rose!

I'd definitely trade one of my kids BEFORE I'd EVER trade a Cathe tape! Tee-Hee! Just kidding of course! Hmmm, I'd have to say Rhythmic Step, not so much because I didn't like it, but because it frustrated me. Mind you, I only gave it one chance, put it away and didn't dig it out for several months. One day, I decided to give it a whirl again. It still wasn't real pretty, but it was so fun, the music, the flow of it and just watching Cathe & the crew gave me hope. I ended up working on it a bit at a time, had the WHOLE tape almost down and then, came the "I" Series and I haven't pulled it out since. I am wondering if my mind will remember all that it took in some time ago??? BTW, I love CardioKicks! Have FUN!

Tapes that didn't click at first

Definitely MIC...I HAAAATED it when I first got it in 1999/2000 sometime in there..it was my first Cathe, and I didn't like it at all..I sold it, then bought it back, then sold it and got it on dvd..and now it is a favorite! :)

Also, for some reason, I think I like some of Cathe's tapes even more (if that is possible!) now that I have them on DVD! Maybe it was the old VHS covers or something? :)
