First 5 week results with Insanity rotation!!

Took my measurements and after the first 5 weeks here are my stats:

Waist-down 2 inches (yeah!)
Hips-down 1 inch
Thighs-down 1 inch (actually the right one was a full inch the left was about a 1/2 inch)
Biceps-down 1/2 inch

I am so impressed! Can't wait to see what the next 4 weeks will bring! Month 2 starts on Monday for me and the workouts get harder and longer----Yikes!

I have only lost about 5-6 lbs but the inches are great. I'm definitely tighter and my stomach is flatter. My entire core region feels stronger!! I want to do Insanity with both STS and Shock Cardio (guess I'm a glutten for punishment!!).

How is everyone else doing??

Hello

I am not doing the rotation but did every day insanity workouts. I did 3 longer workouts(month 2) and 3 short workouts(firs month) every week and lost 5 lb. My core is stronger and can do all the pushups on my toes. :)
I am also doing the STS 6 month program I am on week 2 meso 2.
Love the combination and love the results.:cool:

I have been doing the workouts but due to a couple weeks of vacation, it hasn't been terribly faithful however my jeans that are usually a bit snug slid right on and this has been great for my abs...certainly popping! I will likely do the rotation before we head to MX this winter for vacation...already looking forward to a beach vacay with some rock hard abs!!!

I am starting up with Insanity again tommorow (monday). I was not faithful to the schedule due to work, weather (hot hot hot) and vacations. But I am really ready to do it. I have skipped around and used a few videos a week competly out of order. I have to know what you did. Did you just follow the Insanity schdule or did you add in anything else? What about the weight...did you skip them completely for 5 weeks? For the 30 - 40 min videios in month one did you just do them and that was it....I need details girl, I would love the same success you had....what about food...did you follow there plan or just eat clean?

I have been following the Insanity rotation exactly as planned. (I do a Leslie workout in the morning before work too but this isn't my main workout, Insanity is and I do those after work) I've only added in Cathe's Gym Style Upper Body workouts starting week 3. (my hubby and I were on a planned 2 week break from weights prior to that) We do GS back, shoulders and biceps on Wednesday evenings (and I usually skip my Wednesday Insanity w/out) and GS shoulders and triceps on Saturday mornings--this is in addition to the Insanity workouts. As for my diet, I eat around 1400 calories a day, Sunday through Friday consisting of 5 mini meals. On Saturday I usually eat as many calories as I burn (I don't count them, as it is my "free day" but if I did, it is probably close to 2500-2600!!). I am really excited about my inch/weight loss!! My exercise outfits are practically falling off me (actually I do have one that will fall down if I get to jumping around too much ;)) and I'm fitting into clothes that I haven't worn in ages!!

I hope this helps! Hubby and I restart STS on 9-14 and I plan on doing my own Insanity rotation along with it, mixing all of the workouts during the week. I think doing Insanity in the mornings and STS on Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings and Friday evenings should bring me FINALLY to ultimate weight and inch loss goal!! (I'm hoping!)

Thanks so much! Yes it does help...I think I've become addicted to weight training...I feel like if I don't do it, I'm not working out. But ok starting in the am I am following the Insanity as scheduled!

I've been doing Insanity 2-3 times per week, sometimes doing the month 1 workouts, sometimes month 2. My abs are way more defined, I lost about 3 lbs. (not my main goal, but ok), and my legs, especially my quads and calves are becoming more defined. Love it!! I've noticed that it also spoils me for other workouts that used to seem hard in the past. I did Imax 2 and Imax 3 last week, and they seemed sooo much easier. I think Shock Cardio is really gonna have to be intense to compete with Insanity! Can't wait.
