Hi all,

I hope you don't mind the title. I was fantasizing about my future!
Anyway, I am out of my exercise rut (for today anyway). I did kickbox and it felt good. I hope to stick with the program this week. I start STS next week. Hi to all who follow.

Hi Murphy, I liked the title! Glad to see you are out of your rut! I've been a busy beaver myself. I did 4DS C/S/T premix Saturday, then Sunday I got a wild hair and thought I'd run again (it felt so good on Friday). Right after I put my shoes on, I felt the beginnings of a blister (I have problems with my right foot, I swear it's smaller than my left), well, I decided to only do 40 min vs 60 min on the treadmill. My PF was really bothering me....oh, how I wish my body could keep up with my ambition! I've lost sooooo much endurance and speed from my runs (that's what happens when you don't/can't do it all the time). Oh well, I still feel proud of myself. Today I did 4DS legs and calves (weights only).

How's everyone else's week starting?
 
Hi everyone! My last day of leisure! Back to work tomorrow. I enjoyed the quiet of the house, knowing it is over for awhile! I did PLB today, painful, my legs were trembling on my way up to the shower! Murphy, your body was probably screaming for a break. Did you do the new kickboxing one? Lisa, sorry to hear about your foot. Hope it rebounds soon. Ronne, did the dvd's come yet? Hope everyone has a good night. See ya tomorrow. Mary

Murph - I'd like to be a firm 40 too, nice one :D. Glad to hear you're out of your rut.

Lisa - sounds like you've climbed back aboard as well. Just watch you don't injure yourself ;). I know how tempting it is.

Mary - hope work's not been too much of a shock for you. No DVDs yet. I contacted CS on Friday, they told me to wait another week and if they've still not arrived they'll send another set out, which sounds fair to me.

I did some yoga on Sunday, Slo Mo Chest, Tris, Bis and abs yesterday and a Christi Taylor step today for an hour. Everything seems to be working, touch wood.

Hi girls. Well, work wasn't too bad! It is mainly getting up so early that I find so painful! Did PUB today, that was painful too! Ronne, That is nice that they will send out another set. Hope they come soon. Do you like Amy's slo-mo? I think the leg w/o is the hardest I have ever done! Lisa, how are you? Maddy? i wish that I liked to run, I find it to be torturous! Ronne, you have the patience of a saint waiting for those DVDs while we all raved about them. :) just you wait, your torture will begin soon

Mary, glad to hear work was ok, this week is going better for me as well. I really like leisure time! Maddy is very spunky! Spunkiest I've seen her in MONTHS. So far she's still eating her slop, maybe she knows it's good for her.

Murphy, hope you are still on the FIRM exercise wagon!
 
Hi All,

Yesterday was EA Sports with the Wii and today is Wii fitness plus. Lisa, I had to laugh last week when you said I was the Wii queen or expert or something - last week DH (my 3rd child) bought Just Dance for the Wii. It is fun and actually a good workout (not Cathe but it gets the heart pumping). You mimic a dancer on screen, as if the mirror image. It is more fun than I expected. DH said he bought it for the kids...yeah, okay.

Hi everyone, I did the original CC2 on the spin bike today (30 min). I was selected to try the Cardio Coach (CC) CC1 and CC2 original versions because they are thinking of re-releasing them. I have to write a review for them. I love CC. My legs are still sore from DOMS from Mondays workout, and now I have UB DOMS from PUB yesterday. When I get out of the couch I straighten up like an old lady. Oh, and I'm reminded every time I go to the bathroom of my leg doms.

Murphy, I used to do the dance dance revolution games. I even have a nice dance pad that just sits unused now. But anyway, it was a good workout, better than nothing :)

Hi Mary, are you adjusting to the working life. Remember those days I was bored at work when I started....wishing those would come back :)

gotta run and jump on a conf call, I hate those things, I think it's because I prefer to talk to only a couple of people at a time, not a whole group....I've never ever been good in big group situations. Can't teach this old dog any new tricks :)
 
Hi all! Late day with work, then tutoring, then basketball, I finally made it home! Did KB from 4DS today. I should have worn better support, with all the jumping jacks and being so sore from PUB yesterday, my chest was killing me! Murphy, we just got Dancing with the Stars for Wii, we argued about it, cuz I wanted Just Dance, it looks like fun! I was suprised that I worked up a glow with the dancing one tho! Lisa, I know what you mean about work, feels like I didn't have the time off at all! I'm with you on the DOMS tho! Hi to you Ronne, hope you had a good day. Talk to you tomorrow. Mary

THEY'RE HERE!!!!!

I just had to go and pick them up from the sorting office and pay £19 in customs charges :mad: but I do actually have them at last :eek:. I'm going to do MMA Kickbox first today as I was planning on kickbox and core work anyway.

Apologies for lack of personals, I will definitely have more time to chat tomorrow.

Ronne - so happy that you finally got your dvd's. I am sending DOMS vibes your way. :)

Not much to report, I slept in this morning and DH is working late so I doubt if I will get a workout in today. It snowed a bit this morning so my lunchtime walk it out. I am supposed to start STS Sunday or Monday, who is doing it now or planning on doing it soon?

Hi girls! Almost friday!! Ronne, so glad you got your dvd's! Let us know how much you like them! You are going to have so much fun! Today I tried Travel Fit for the first time, not much of a band fan, I actualy kind of liked it! It was hard, because I DON"T like the band, but moved quickly. Murphy, I have been trying to figure out when I will redo STS, maybe I will give it a go with you. I have been thinking about doing the longer rotation. I will let you know. Lisa, how are you? Mary, DOMS are better, still lots in the pecs. Your story about better support was funny. Can you believe one morning I got down in my workout room and once I got to a more serious part of the warm up I realized I forgot my bra! :eek: Guess I was still asleep. :confused:

I plan on doing STS again some day, don't know when. I looked at that STS rotation with the STS cardio and i don't think I'll be able to do it. This STS cardio seems much more unfriendly on my body. My right knee and right foot (PF) is feeling the brunt of it.

So, today, I got up late (notice a theme here Murphy?), I didn't have any specific workout planned, I finally decided on Cardio Core (for some strange reason I thought it would be good to get the core work (even though I can't really do it) and thought the workout wouldn't be all that bad.....WELL, after the warmup when she repeated the first cardio cycle, I said, I do not have the energy, gotta pick something else, now time is really wasting (I had a conf call I had to get on), so now had to pick something at 30 min. Finally decided on 4ds LIS cardio step. It all turned out good (foot hurt a bit). I definitely have tomorrow's workout planned now and low impact for a while...so I'll do the bike for 30 min with my other free cardio coach workout....then this weekend I want to write up a nice review for them (even though they said they didn't expect a formal one, but they deserve it).

Back to work now.......I see you are feeling the work strain now Mary, waaa! I just want to play all day! :eek:
 
Hi all,

I pick up my STS' from my sister, I let her borrow them again. I really get nervous about loaning them to her, but she is my sister and I am trying to be nice and more importantly, I think she is trying to keep them safe. BTW, I am planning on downloading the STS stickers. Has anyone done this? They tell you which ones to get but of course that is not what I have. I wonder if it will really make a difference. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone

A very happy poster here today. I did MMA Kickbox yesterday and really enjoyed it. It was just the right level and I liked the core work at the end. I previewed the Cardio Core Circuit and just thought ^$%^(&^$"£ :p. No way on earth I'll ever be able to manage that one! Going to take it very easy when I attempt that! Lisa, I'm not surprised you switched to 4DS if you weren't feeling 100%.

Today I did a shortened version of Scrambled Legs from BM2. Tough!

Murph - you are very trusting lending out your Cathes! Not sure I'm that nice ;).

Lisa - you just be careful, you've got to make sure you don't make yourself any worse. Call this friendly nagging :D.

Mary - sounds like you're really busy! I like the look of Travel Fit (though I don't like that ab exercise with one leg raised and one straight out, that kills me!). Now I've got them all, I've got to try and fit them all in!

I won't be working out this weekend as it's pretty full. We're out all day Sunday at DD's gymnastics club championships. Got to wrap up warm cos the gym's pretty cold!

I did CC1 original on the bike today. My butt is getting sore so guess it's time to move back to foot work :p I also did medicine ball abs (I like those).

Ronne, so glad you are enjoying (is that the word for it) the STS cardio dvds. What did BM2 scrambled legs consist of? LB weight and cardio? Sounds like something interesting to do.

Murphy, the thing we do for sisters! Kudos to you, it's so much easier supporting someone in their efforts if you feel they ARE making the effort. My sis still isn't talking to me, don't know what bee got in her bonnet during my stressful time with Maddy.

Mary, you made it through the work week, woo hoo!

Hi everyone! I made it through a work week! Today I did 30/30, It was quick, but I was breathing heavy! Murphy, you are sweet to lend your dvd's out, I am too selfish! I will lend any other one out, but Cathe's. She is your sister, you know where to find her! Ronnne, are you having fun with your new dvd's? Try the boxing one, it is a lot of fun, I am excited to hear your take on them. Lisa, sorry about your sister. Hi All,

Did kickbox today in honor of Ronne, tomorrow I officially start STS again. I am going to try the STS/Shock Cardio rotation, wish me luck! I am going to try to start working my way into eating clean-er (who am I kidding?).
