Was contemplating getting "The Firefighter's Workout" for my DH. Has anyone done it before? Also, my DH is currently doing Cathe's strength tapes with me. Would this be a step down? Is it all strength or a circuit workout? Thanks for any info.
This workout is much easier than Cathe. I thought it might be fun to do since DH is a firefighter. I was wrong. DH saw me doing it and his only comment was that it was a joke and not even a workout. Plus the guy who leads it just talks and talks and talks. It drove me completely nuts.
However, if you're still interested I do have it available for trade. ;-)

I know they have books, and I have a good one called "Peak Conditioning." As far as tapes, I don't know. They have suggested workouts for all levels, so that's a thought.
If he has to have a taped workout, then I can't be much help. You may get him to start watching "Body Shaping" in the morning on ESPN. They have a lot of good suggestions.
Let's face it - guys don't go for workout tapes too much. But then, not many are even geared toward men.
PS - If you are looking for a real "guy" oriented workout, you may want to consider the Navy Seal workout. I have three of them if you want to try them out and see if Dave likes them.
Thanks so much for your replies! Sounds like my DH just needs to stick with my Cathe tapes with me. (kinda figured that ;-)) I just thought since it sounded "male-oriented", it might be a nice add-on. HB, thanks for the offer to try your tapes. I think I will just wait (hopefully, no more then a week) for the new series since they have lots to offer in the strength department. DH has even said he is going to give the cardio sections a try!!!! OH BOY! Kristina~thanks for the offer of a trade. I think it sounds like we would be disappointed like you. DH loves the format & intensity Cathe delivers. THANKS guys!
