oh wow, I read this thread for the first time, didn't notice the date on it, and then I reach the second page and see that it's been years and you're done w/ law school and have been working out regularly. Happy ending!
I was going through the same thing you were going through though. I just started a phd program (nearing the end of my first year now) and in the beginning I was having the hardest time fitting in regular workouts. Two things that have helped me: 1) I used to teach at my alma mater's rec center, and since I'm still certified, I went and got a teaching job at my current rec center, so I'm required to be at the gym at least a couple days a week, plus I get my workouts in while I'm teaching. 2) someone suggested to me on here a while back that I schedule my workouts...and I do! I have a calendar posted on my fridge with workouts planned for every. single. day. I highlight the workouts in one color when I've completed them, and use another color for the ones I didn't do, so I can kind of get an idea of when I'm skipping out on workouts, or what I'm skipping out on. It's helped me loads..though I still struggle at times.
A belated congrats on the weightloss/getting into a regular fitness routine, aand for making it through law school, lol Hope I also manage to survive my phd program. 1 year almost down... ??? more to go.
