FINALLY some knee pain relief!

After soooo many years of suffering from knee pain from high-impact workouts and subsequent injuries over the past two decade, I saw a pamphlet at my Dr.s office for something called Hyalgan. Yesterday I had my third out of five injections and this morning I woke up with almost no knee pain!!! I'm sooo psyched and happy to not be hurting constantly (at least in my knee).

You get one injection directly into the knee once a week for five subsequent weeks. My doc was right whe he said about the third shot I'd begin feeling relief. And should feel sooo much better by the 5th!

This isn't a commercial, I promise, I know that there are a ton of you who also suffer and wanted to share a new posibility for relief.

I'm bummed that right now it's only FDA approved for the knee, but I'm so happy with the results that I'm going to see about participating in a trial for the hip. Relief in my hip would truly be a miracle!!

Pam, What is this medication? What does it actually do to alleviate the pain?

Hi Sandra,

It is Sodium Hyaluronate. You might want to check out the web-site. It's a natural substance in the body and some of us have either worn it out or don't produce enough of it.

That's my fancy medical definition! "I'm not really a doctor, I just play one on TV!" LOL!!!

Yes, the relief has been wonderful and I can't wait for even more relief!
