After three weeks off, I'm finally getting back into my workouts! I think it was a culmination of things that caused me to take off for so long - stress, burnout, fighting a sinus infection that triggered 24-hour asthma attacks after working out, etc. But last night, I did Step Blast and had only mild asthmatic problems, so I guess my antibiotics are finally kicking the ol' sinus infection in the butt!
It felt good exercising again, but I'll admit, my stamina and muscle mass have taken a minor hit. I'm not starting over at scratch, but I definitely feel challenged and will have to step back to some of the lighter workouts for a little while as I build back up to full speed.
