Finally doing AM WORKOUTS!!!!

I just started this week doing AM workouts - I am using a split rotation with the CTX series in the morning........

For some reason this is working for me because the cardio sections are only 30 mins long, which is not as daunting as 60 mins of cardio. By the end of the cardio sections I am rearing to lift weights and hit some abs -

I just wanted to share bc I have struggled for YEARS trying to get my workouts started in the morning! Plus it gives me more time to walk the dog at night and work on my legs (trying to lift 4-5X per week on legs)...............

I don't miss workouts when I do them in the morning! It's so tough to work out when you go home after work and your fanny is draggin'!

Hi Reba,

I started AM workouts about 6 months ago and wouldn't go back to PM unless I ABSOLUTELY had to. It is a huge accomplishment switching to morning workouts in my book, so you should be very proud of yourself.
 
I'm with ya Reba! This past week I started doing my w/o before coffee:eek: , after I get my older kids on the bus - about 6:25. It's been tough, but I have no choice with my crazy schedule. It's good to know it is over with and there is no pressure to get it all done at 5p.m. Marnie
 
I love working out in the AM. If I don't my entire day is off kilter and I am miserable. Plus if you exercise in the AM, and you feel like working out in the PM that is just an added Bonus Babies!}(

You go Reba! It's so much better. Like everyone else said it's not hanging over your head all day. I go for bike rides, walks, etc. with my kids in the evening.

I PM'd or maybe it was e-mail a little over a week ago. I had seen your post in the rotation board about trying out freestyle. So, I had asked what kind of results you have seen in the first month? Just curious. It may be something I want to try.
