filming taking longer?

the original update message said they'd begin filming on the 28th and that it would take a couple weeks...

"We will spread our filming out over a couple of weeks to give ourselves a little recovery time between the workouts."

well tomorrow is THREE weeks! and we still don't have pics of the final workout! i wonder if this was planned (to be 3 weeks vice a "couple" weeks) or if they had issues/complications?

I posted a message asking the same and SNM did not answer to me. The two week finished the Thursday 11. I think we will see the pics of kickmax in the weekend.The good new is that there is three groups working in the workouts and the waiting will be shorter.

They posted an update I think on the 14th. They gave a breakdown of how everything is going (they have different teams doing different things). She is filming Kick Max (the last one) this week. The way it looks everything will probably go pretty quick!!!

Well, my husband normally thinks that "a couple of (insert noun)" could mean anything from 2 to 5. I, on the other hand, have always interpreted "a couple" as meaning two. Might just be a difference in interpretations, or it could be taking longer than originally expected. For the health and safety of all the participants, I'm glad Cathe is filming over a longer period of time, rather than trying to cram the filming of so many workouts into a 3 to 5 day timeframe. Guess that's one of the advantages of having your own filming studio, rather than having to pay to use someone else's. ;-)
 
I'm wondering whether they are holding off on KickMax because they're waiting for one or two "guests" to be available, like the two men in Cardio Kicks, etc.? I'm not trying to start an unfounded rumour; just trying to make some sense of the long delay in filming.

My understanding is that filming must always be scheduled around the work schedules of even the regular participants.
 
I was hoping to see the pictures but Friday. I am on vacation next week and the computer at home is slow and the pictures are not as clear as at work.

I was also thinking "couple" meant two but evidently it meant three or four. I am still excited about the new series and hoping to get it by the new year. What a great way to bring in the new year, with a new tough series that hopefully will whip my body into shape.

Maybe its taking longer b/c Cathe has a surprise for us? I was thinking that she scheduled some MEN in her kickboxing this time b/c so many of us requested this. Ya think? Kathy:7

I doubt if the longer filming time will cause much of a delay to when we get the DVDs - they are already getting to work on the DVDs for the ones that have been filmed.
 
I keep checking - hoping that the "later in the week for filming the KickMax" would have happened. I think they like keeping us in suspense. :) Although to know that they are done with 4 already is excellent. I can't wait!
