Sandra,
Thanks for the offer. :) The videos arrived this afternoon. Did you enjoy your rest day? I enjoyed mine. :7

Hi Pamela,

I'm glad you got your order in time. The Intensity Series is such a great set of workouts!! Rest days are nice, aren't they? Mine was very busy, so I can't say I actually "rested". But it was nice to get an extra hour's sleep in the morning :)

I look forward to hearing what you have to say about the pyramids!

Cheers!
Sandra

Hi Sandra,

I love the look of this series, and I can't wait to try them. Surprisingly, Pyramid Lower Body wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It was actually quite doable. I didn't modify the standing leg work at all. Now the floor work is a different story. :) I completed it, but I followed Brenda's modification on a few because I just couldn't keep myself up with one foot on the ball. Also, I shaved off a few reps of those outer thigh leg lifts at the end. :+ I think had I realized it was the last exercise I might have pushed myself harder to do them all. We'll see next time.

It kind of sneaks up on you doesn't it? My legs were like rubber during my run.

I can relate to the "rest" day not really being about rest, but it was nice coming close to finishing all of my housework. :)

Enjoy the weekend!

Oh yes, it definitely sneaks up on you! I find the standing work to be a, ah, easy isn't the right word, but in order to really feel it, I have to go quite a bit heavier than Cathe does. But the floorwork has always, well, "floored" me LOL! The hamstring section in particular is very hard for me to do. I always get great DOMS from this workout. And it took me a while to be able to finish all those outter thigh lifts without being in complete agony. I think the Leg Conditioning drills in KickMax have significantly helped me in that area.

Tomorrow is PUB!!! I LOVE this workout! I'm looking forward to it! I'm not sure what my 20 minutes of cardio will be. Nothing that requires a lot of arm movement, I'm pretty sure!

Have a great day!
Sandra

I'm so glad to hear you say that! I thought I was doing something wrong because I wasn't really feeling the standing part -- not like with GS legs. The floorwork, however, was killer! I switched from the ball to high step for that first set of hamstring exercises because I just couldn't do them on the ball no matter how hard I tried. I stuck with the ball for the frogs until the last 3 or 4 reps then I had to go to Brenda's modification, which was still hard!

I'm looking forward to tomorrow too. I love upper body (not core, but that's just because I need it the most :))

I have to confess I have a great deal of dread about Monday. I've never even attempted the KickMax Drills. I guess I'd better get a good night sleep on Sunday so "I'm ready to work" on Monday.

Thanks again for joining me. It's a lot more fun knowing someone else is doing it too.

Take care,
Pamela
