Can anyone point me in the direction of a good set of stretches for the back (especially the lumbar area)? I needs a few I can do each day. Thanks.

Hi Kim,

I have had all kinds of back pain. Lower, mid and upper. My last bout was a year long mid back a pain. What I have found that really helped me was yoga poses. If I consistently do these poses/stretches some nights I am pain free. I don't really know the names of my poses but you could do a search on yoga poses for a healthy back.

Thanks all. I herniated a disc last year so I don't know if it's another herniation or just a bulge....or maybe not a disc at all. I REFUSE to get another MRI!. I did nothing for the herniation and it healed within 2 mos. I was back doing everything I had done before plus some (running and lifting heavier).

Anyway, I'll check out these links.
