Good Morning Ladies!

Today was 3 mile run and then B&G. Ouchie Mama on those one legged squats and the low pulse lunges!x( }( They NEVER get any easier!
Tomorrow we are just walking b/c one running friend is recovering from surgery and Friday is LIC with Sat off or yoga.
Have you guys heard of the Flat Belly Diet? My friend was telling me about it. 1200 calories the first 4 days and 1600 after that for 1 month. No processed food. Don't think that 1200 is enough for me to exercise on!:eek:
DS's wedding is now 1 month from today!

Marcy--Are you sore at all from ME? Did you watch DWTS? I only saw the last few minutes.

Good Afternoon Girls!

This morning I did Tilak Pyle's Altar of the Heart. I really love this practice. I didn't do headstand very well during the practice but I decided to try it again after it was over and I realized I had to move my hands in closer. Once I did that, things seemed to work better and I held it for a second or two. This one is so soothing and relaxing.

Gin - I knew there was a reason I don't do B&G that much. Actually I really like the floorwork in that and the stability ball abs are great. I have to pull that one out again. Never heard of the Flat Belly Diet. I know I can't survive on 1200 a day - maybe 1400. 1600 is more like what I like to be at. Are you going to try and do extra cardio for the next month? Low Max and MIC are great calorie burners. I don't think you should lower the calories but just eat clean - no processed foods and no junk (then you can really enjoy the wedding cake). The wedding date sure crept up quickly.

I wasn't sore from ME. Amazing how I was so sore from RTTC. I think I might do RTTC again either tomorrow or Friday. I hate to get on Jari's bandwagon, but this one did burn more calories for me in a shorter amount of time than ME and kept my HR up for double the amount of time that ME did. I was looking at clips and reviews of her Ripped and Chiseled and was thinking I might like to try it. Does Netflix have this one?

I watched DWTS. I was a little sad to see Penn go. I would have preferred Adam to leave. But I think Penn would have gone in the next couple of weeks anyway. I felt bad for Monica. I thought she improved this week but like the judges said, she's so out of her comfort zone. I think she could have improved if she stayed on. Did you see the aerial act they did? I thought it was fantastic and I also love Meatloaf (I can't think of the song at the moment).

Deanie - I also hope you have great weather and that maybe we'll hear from you later. When are you coming back?

Forgot to mention I did 2 chinups in a row this morning. Yesterday I did 3 chins in a row and 1 wide front pullup.

My friend did have trouble running this morning. Could it have been too few calories on the Flat Belly diet??;-)
Do you think I should try to do more cardio? I will be starting the June 07 rotation next week (Pyramids , S&H alternating with 3 days of cardio plus I still run 2-3 days).
Netflix does have JL's R&C and I just added it to my queue, but apparently there is a long wait!x( Yoga Shakti also showed a long wait, but I do have Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Extreme in my queue with no wait.
I saw just a second of DWTS's aerial act and with the Meatloaf song. DS24 was over and we were visiting.

I'm getting my haircut and possibly changing the color slightly this aft. I'm skeered!:eek:

Gin - How much cardio are you doing per week now? Maybe you might want to try 3 days of total body and 3 days of cardio? Just a thought to try and change things up plus eating super clean.

Are you getting a new style or just a trim? What color are you getting?

I know I could do better on the clean eating thing! I average about 4 hours of cardio a week right now.

I had been trying to grow my hair out and now I don't think I like it, so I'm thinking I'll have it trimmed 1/2-2"?? :eek: The color looks fine to me in my bathroom mirror, but when I go outside or see a pic of myself, it looks so brassy!x( Don't know if I just need to change the color completely with a darker blond or she can put in highlights and lowlights. It is so scary to mess with your hair!

Gin - 4 hours of cardio sounds pretty good. With my dancing, I average about the same. But lately I think I should be doing more. I might stick with endurance workouts for awhile.

I like highlights. I think they look more natural. I've never had lowlights but maybe they might tone down the brassiness?? It definitely is scary to mess with the hair and especially so close to the wedding. I guess I wouldn't do anything too dramatic unless you're really sure.

My hair has really grown out but I'm going to go in a couple of weeks and get layers all over. My hairdresser keeps giving me long layers but I think I need to get shorter layers so it doesn't fall flat so much. Plus I think it'll be faster for me to blow out.
