With all of the cop killings, glad to see that some people still respect law enforcement.

That's so nice! My father was a state trooper and it is so disheartening to see the negativity splashed all over the news with none of the good to be found! I worry that young people will NOT go into law enforcement because of all this! Then what?!? However...I do believe in training people who are faced with grave situations regularly. Not everyone can do this sort of job and be ok mentally. Thanks for sharing! It DID make me feel good!!!

My husband is a retired cop. It is so sad to see people hating them for what they do. The majority of cops really do want to help and are good guys, though not perfect. There are a few bad apples, but that is true of any profession. Too bad so many in powerful places don't give them the support and recognition they deserve.
