Feedback on STS 2.0 10 week

Hello, I am really interested in your experiences when you got to week 7 of the STS 2.0 10 week rotation.

After completing the first workout of back/bi mishmosh premix, I recognized this was not going to be enough so I decided to do all of the individual body part workouts vs doing the mishmosh premixes.

I started STS 2.0 after completing STS 1.0 - excluding the last meso cycle of strength as I went straight into STS 2.0. The mishmosh premixes, in week 7 of the 10 week program, to me, just did not feel like I was working the muscles enough.

I am curious if anyone completed this stage of the 10 week rotation, just as the rotation was written, or if you made changes. Thanks for your feedback.

I did do the mish moshes and combined workouts somewhere in my STS2.0 usage. But I didn't care for them as it didn't feel like enough. I prefer to do the full Parts back, chest and shoulder workouts and their bonuses. I will do the Timesavers for Bi's & Tri's. Sometimes I sub in the Bi's/Tri's from Xtrain Burn Sets as that's plenty for me.

I didn't do the rotation with the mish moshes, instead opted for the 12-week rotation that focuses on the body parts during the last 6 weeks. After I finished the 12-week rotation, I did try to do a few of the mish mosh workouts to get a feel for them, and I found that whichever body part came second ended up suffering because I'd already been thoroughly fatigued doing the first body part. I couldn't lift as heavy.

ie: After I did the Chest/Triceps mosh-mosh, I could lift as heavy as my marked weights from the Chest workout, but when I got to Triceps, I found I had to keep going lighter than my heaviest marked weights from the standalone Triceps workout because I was already worn down from the heavy chest work.

I posted about this somewhere among the STS 2 reviews, and had warned that I think people won't get as thorough a workout because of this. OR, if you really want to do the combos, then swap the premixes out each time you do them. So one day you do Chest followed by Triceps, then the next do Triceps followed by Chest.

Kinda feels like a waste of time opting to do that, though, when I can put in 100% effort on just the one body part. But I get the appeal of wanting to combine body parts, too. Just have to adapt knowing you'll be pretty fatigued from the first body part that gets worked.

Edited to add: when I did the combos, I did the "Extreme" combo, so in looking at the user's guide, I guess those weren't technically the "mish mosh" premixes.
