Hello All
Two weeks ago I somehow managed to injure my left knee. I noticed that it started to swell up slightly and there is a dull ache running up the inside of my thigh. I have tried resting it over the past week. I think I must have done it doing lunges, during one of the lower body workouts. My form must have been out somewhere.
Anyway I'm feeling very low at the moment I hate not exercising. I love to exercise for my mental well being if nothing else. Swimming just doesn't do it for me. I love my Cathe workouts. Strangely step aerobics doesn't seem to be too bad as long as I dont put too much weight on it. But I think lower body weights at the moment are a complete no no.
I'm just curious do you think I will lose all my hard earned work by just incorporating upper body excercise, light cardio and lower body floor exercises? I'm desperate to do something. I know I shoud rest and I am doing alot of that. But the thought of doing nothing is really getting me down. I'm back to the doctors on Wednesday to get a check up. But my GP isn't very knowledgeable about sport injury. He just says rest it.
Any advice?
Thanks
Laura
