Good morning fitness buddies....

Today is long cardio day for me. I believe I'm ready to jump back into the cardio after two weight days. PowerMax followed by Low Impact Step.

I'll be start in just a little bit and getting it behind me.

What are y'all up to today?

Hi Ladies-j
Today was 45" treadmill run for me. I did a gradual increase speed which really gives legs a good warm up.

FYI the WO went like this:
0-10" 3.0 mph & increase by 0.2mph every minute (3.0-4.8) (walk)
10-30" 5.0 mph & increase by 0.2mph every 2 minutes (5.0-6.8)(jog)
30-43" 7.0 mph & increase by 0.2mph every 3" stay at 7.4 mph 4" (run)
43-47" cool down walk

***On a longer cardio day I try to stay at 7.4 mph as long as I can.

Happy weekend girls. Today I did Christi Taylor's Totally Cool Step (including the bonus cardio) and followed it up with PUB.

This week I've had DOMS in my back, shoulders, thighs, and core. Right now they are in my hamstrings. The workouts Cathe gave us for week two didn't look that intense but the combination appears to have kicked my butt. Instead of rest tomorrow I think a Stretch Max is in order.

A big milestone for me today. I picked up my first ever prescription eyeglasses. Actually, they are sunglasses and they are bifocals no less. It's no fun getting old!

LOL about the glasses, TK. I have been wearing glasses forever, but i've noticed a change now that I'm in my 40's. I've been trying to avoid it, but that small print can be tough!

PUB - done. Tomorrow will be the long cardio w\power max and LIS.

I just finished PowerMax and LIS, great combination!

TK.... I had LASIK a year and a half ago and no longer have to wear glasses, but I've had to pick up a pair of +1.5 reading glasses. Old age is showing in my eyes!
