Hi all. I did my short cardio today (sounds like and Olympic event!), IMAX3 int 7-10. Then I did what Jane did and repeated blast 10 instead of the terminators. Finally, I worked on my christi moves. It takes me awhile, but I'm getting it.

Have a good day. Phyllis

Hi Rotationers!

I miss you guys!

I injured my back (pulled muscles) last week doing the leg presses in LL. STILL am dealing with it and haven't worked out since.
OOPS, I did do a simple workout off of FitTv yesterday....slo-robics with Ellen Barrett. It was a beginner workout but all I can handle right now.

I will probably call my dr. back today or tomorrow. She just told me to rest and prescribed muscle relaxers. I used those 3x a day for the first couple of days and now am just taking one at night but still have pain and spasms when I try to do anything at all. (vaccuming, housework etc..) I think she's going to send me to an osteopath. Anyone been to one before?? Any ideas what they will say or prescribe??

I'm just so sick of laying around and being a slug. Cannot WAIT to workout again!!!

Hope everyone is having a good week! It's almost the weekend! YAY!!!:7

Hi gals. Instead of IMAX3 7-10 I used the IMAX3 premix 6-10 instead. Interval 7 is soo much easier when you've got fresh legs. IMO that interval 7 is the most strenuous of the bunch. I guess it's because I am so firmly planted on this earth. This girl just can't jump LOL. I've played a lot of sports over my lifetime but any jumping sports (volleyball, basketball) I am pitifully poor at.

I did do the 90 seconds of terminators. That was a long 90 seconds. Sweat was flying.

Becky: I'm so sorry you're laid up! I hope you get better soon. Make sure you rest up and don't try to do too much until it gets better. You don't want to reinjure yourself. I was just commenting yesterday how much I dread Leaner Legs and one of the reasons is that I just hate leg presses.

Phyllis: Keep practicing your Christi workouts. It's so much fun once it all starts coming together. Are you working on Solid Gold Step or Totally Hot Cardio (don't you just love the cheesy names)? I haven't worked too hard on Solid Gold yet but I think I have a comfort factor on Totally Hot Cardio, Still Steppin and Step Heaven. I did Still Jumpin' once or twice but it's been a while. Just like Cathe, Christi uses some of the same moves between her videos. Once you get used to her style it will get easier and easier.

I've decided to ditch ME today and just go for a hour-long walk as well. My right wrist is killing me. I'll join Becky in the walking wounded....LOL... My RA is flaring terribly in my right wrist. I went for my regular checkup yesterday and he upped one of my meds and told me to wrap the wrist when I sleep and to keep it wrapped during the day if I could work with it wrapped. I did and it didn't seem to help but I'll keep doing it. I can't imagine holding a barbell or dumbbells right now, I can barely hold a glass. I think SS Upper body about did me in Monday and I don't want a repeat of that!!!

Walking is good!! It is 61 degrees here and I'm going to enjoy it.

Til tomorrow.

~~I am sorry to hear about the aches and pains that are looming here!!

Today was short cardio also. *Imax2 WU and 6-10 plus 4 sets of : 8 airborne jacks alternated wtih 8 straight jumps. Yikes that was hard!

* The prescribed WO was Imax 6' wup and int. 1-5 then the above jacks & jumps, but I do not own Imax, the origional.
