"Featured Rotations"??

Would anybody be interested in starting a group rotation challenge, like the weekly check-ins? As y'all know I've been compiling rotations for quite a while and they seem to be very popular with our group. I was thinking that it might be fun to choose maybe two "featured rotations" of different types (e.g., one Maximum Weight Loss, one Maximum Strength Gains), and try them together for a while. Even for those of us waiting for new DVD's, it'll be just a few more weeks until we have the new series and can immediately "feature" those in a group rotation. Until then we could try something else to get us pumped up.

If anybody's interested, I'll toss out a few suggestions for the first "featured rotations" and then we could do a periodic results check-in.

What do y'all think?

I'd be interested in seeing what you suggest! I may have to change a thing here or there since I teach classes too. Thanks for all your time and energy you have put into this for us all. Havbe you mailed out the previous rotations yet? Just curious as I have never received anything. No rush, just wanted to make sure it didn't get lost along the way! THANX AGAIN!!!

I am interested, too. I think it would be fun to see the results of one rotation has on different people.

I am defenitely interested. This will be a good way to jump right in to the new DVDs. I haven't been able to stick with any rotation. Actually I haven't had a chance to do any Cathe workouts in a while (mostly running right now), so this would also help me get back into it. I enjoy running, but I miss my Cathe videos, and desperately need to get more into weight training.

I have nothing but Cathe videos, with the exception of a couple Karen Voight tapes. Karen is a good instructor, but she just doesn't inspire me like Miss Cathe:).

I'll give it a whirl (assumming I can fit it into my schedule). I quite often have trouble sticking to a rotation. Trying one "together" would help me stick to one. Keep us posted!!!

Yes, I sure will. I've been perusing what I've got today, and I'll post a couple of options before the day's over. Some people like to start on Saturday, some on Monday (I prefer Saturday myself just because Mondays seem to be overloaded with weekly fresh starts already :))

Any preferences for what we focus on?

Nikki, see my post called "Featured Rotation Challenge Week of 7/21". I chose one of Cathe's own rotations, a pretty tough one but a short three weeks. She says this one promotes fat loss and strength gains in an optimal blend. Sounds good to me!
