favorite split

Oh, man, when I read "favorite split" I was going to say "banana" :p

Ok, as far as exercise splits, I won't be much help because I've been doing better with a little of each every day, rather than a cardio day, then a weights day. So, I might do 20 minutes of run/walk, 15 minutes of squats and pushups, then 10 minutes of stretch. I sort of mix it all up!

I've been really enjoying the concepts from STS - working muscle groups really hard just once a week, but rotating the muscle groups. Like one week I might do chest and back; biceps, triceps, shoulders; legs. Then the next week change and do back, shoulders; chest, biceps, triceps; legs. That sort of thing.

I've also done a little mixing and matching and have done like one or two muscle groups from a strength DVD (like Gym Style) then add on the same muscle groups from a muscle endurance DVD (like Power Hour).

There are sooo many options! LOL

I too like the Gym Styles. I have been mixing the Gym styles with one day a week total body (MIS/Power hour usually) and drill type cardio :)
Slow and Heavy is also very good.

In general, I like Amy Bento's Slo mo Splits, in that I like Shoulders with back, Legs seperate, and chext, bis and tris together.

i don't really do weights for legs(i use barre, kettlebells, and pilates) but for upper body i will do either two upper body workouts or break that down into chest/arms and back/shoulders,chest/back,shoulders/arms the combinations are endless i am sure but i dedicate at no more then 2 days to arms so i can fit in other stuff but i am trying to go as heavy as possible so i have no choice but to rest between workouts for lifting. same with my kettlebells no more then 3 no less then 2 days a week dedicated to that training.
